Committee responsibilities

The Finance and General Purposes Committee is responsible for:

• Ensuring that the council's standing orders, financial regulations and other similar documents remain current.
• Producing an annual budget to put before the Parish Council for their acceptance as the Annual Precept
• Dealing with aspects of Parish Council business that does not fall under the remit of other committees, e.g. dealing with leases and legal matters.
